Salt Cellar with Salt Spoon with Two Chambers - Ceramic Salt Box

This beautiful matte black stoneware salt box stores up to 10 oz. of salt in dual compartments, making it a useful addition to the kitchen counter or dining table.  Fill the salt box with gourmet salts and sugars for a beautiful tabletop presence or convenient use in the kitchen. Measures approximately 2 inches tall by 5-inches in diameter.   Includes one salt keeper and one olive wood scoop.
How it was made:
The box was thrown on a pottery wheel using black stoneware clay.  A divider was added and the box went through a 36 hour firing. 
 A clear glaze was added to the interior surface and the exterior was left bare to showcase the beauty of the clay.  The end result is a beautiful functional piece of art for your kitchen.
