About The Event
Yvonne offers a calm and easy approach to teaching you how to make functional & decorative pottery on the wheel. This class is for beginner and intermediate students. Continuing students will further their skills by either working on their own projects or a group-decided project. Beginners will learn the basics of wheel throwing and glazing. The course includes one scheduled 3-hour class per week for five weeks, 6-9pm, October 27, November 3, 10, 17 & December 1. (no class Thanksgiving week). There will be one make up class December 8th. Class includes use of studio tools, one 25 lb bag of clay, glazes & firings. Classroom includes 10 electric wheels, slab-roller, extruder, and more.
The fine print...
All participants must be Covid vaccinated and show proof upon registering. Masks must be properly worn at all times while in the studio.
We have a studio cat, so if you are allergic, this might not be the class for you.
There are no refunds after class has started.
Be on time, demonstrations will not be repeated
Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long hair must be tied back.
Pieces will be ready for pickup 2 weeks after the last class. Pieces not picked up within one month after the class ends will become the property of the studio.
CANCELLATION POLICY If you are not able to attend the class, a refund, less an administrative fee of $15, or a full credit in the form of a gift certificate, is only available if requested no later than a week before your class begins. After this time, we cannot offer a refund in any form.
